Why Should I Keep My Arts

This morning, I was preparing my stuffs since school is going to start soon. I need a folder to keep my papers for school and I found a yellow folder. When I opened it, I was really shocked because I found a lot of my arts that I did some years ago. Homemade manga are inside, panels, backgrounds, fan arts. I read the manga I made an I laugh to death to see my horrible childish art skill (anyone feel the same thing? hahaha), the jokes I put in my manga, my silly emotions I used, perspectives I used, it's like I realized that I have improved so much and 'wow, I made some manga when I was a child'. The amazed and fantastic feelings we have when we see our childhood drawings, it's really amazing.

So let me point out the things we will get from 'keeping' our childhood arts:
1. Bring back memories
Maybe when you was drawing, you met new friend who was interested in your drawing and that person is now your best friend, or how your parents 'amazed' with the skill you have. Every arts, every drawings you made always have feelings into it. It's not only about technique. It's about the feeling you have when you drew it, and it will come out when you see it again.

2. It will be one of the unforgettable moment in your life
You read the things you made, you wrote, you drew and you can laugh to it, or amazed, or maybe you are so interested in it until you show it to others, give you more 'fun' time to spend, to react to your drawings.

3. Realize how much you've improved
Always write the date of your arts, so when you keep it and when you see it again, you will realize how much you've improved, become a thing which can make you improve more by learning it.

That's why you need to keep your arts! Let me help you how..
1. Prepare a folder, a box, or whatever you can find to put your drawings, manga, and other things related to your artworks in it.

2. Write the date of your artworks so you can know how much you have improved when you see it again.

3. Keep it in a place that's not 'easy to find'.

4. Write a note about when will you open it again. My suggestion? 1 year after you keep them!

There they are! The steps I recommend you!

Thank you for reading!
